Tips to help save your child overweight obesity
I received an email from a woman the other day who has two boys who are overweight are about to reach puberty. She is overweight and wants three of them to find a way to beat it now before the boys are much older. Having been an overweight teenager, I know the horror and humiliation of a young child feels when they do not fit into the current styles, can not keep up with other children physically, and are the brunt of fat jokes. This is not a place be fun.
My parents do not know how me and I did not know how to seek help. I would have perhaps because I would have found ways to break my bad habits way back then instead of waiting until my late forty.
Helping someone deal with something you never experienced yourself is hard, or even if you have experienced, your reaction may not be the best. My father was Chubby around thirteen years and was teased for it. He felt the best way help me was to humiliate me constantly. I guess it felt better to someone else. Needless to say back against him.
As I work with obese adults, I hear similar stories about how their parents will perpetuate or even cause their obesity. Here are some of the reasons they give.
- The mother had major food issues, she passed
This is normal. A mother who is obsessive of his own weight, and I speak of mothers who have ten to thirty pounds to lose, transfer This obsession with food on their children.
Examples of this would be putting their daughters on strict diets when they are young and still have just as Fat Baby Pouchy. Sign up for a race bike with pleasure to your children and then as a family to prepare. Children of all sizes love bikes. Hiking on the weekends to remote locations is very amusing. Give your child the cameras, they learn to identify animal tracks, make outdoor adventure a family. Once a child falls in love with nature, they are outside more often than not.
