Palm Tree seed HELP?

I just bought 50 California fan palm seed. I have put them into a paper towel to sow them. I heard that it worked so i tried it. They have been in there for a 1 1/2 weeks and have not seen any progress. I need help.

    Some Varieties of plams can take months to germinate.
