Wanting to plant some Queen Palm trees and would like to know how to control the growth?
November 17th, 2009 WalterThey are being planted in an area where I can’t have them growing larger than 12 ft. tall or taller. Any suggestion would be great.

Plant the trees in a bury container. If the tree is 3 feet tall and you want the trees to grow to 9 feet, the container should be three times larger than what it’s in now (assuming the tree is from a nursery)….thus allowing the roots to become root bound and stunting the growth of the tree. It will grow to about 12 feet by the time it’s root bound. I have never tried this, but, it sounds good!
