can I raffel off my home in Arizona?
November 9th, 2009 WalterI need to move and own a large 3 bedroom home in Arizona on 3 acres w/ fenced horse corrals huge barnw/tack room and established landscape .My husband died some years ago and I would like to move to a cooler climate.I have been paying a hired hand to keep up with all the maintenance and lanscaping.I would like to retire now .This is truly an oasis in the desert immaculate beautiful.

I’m not sure about raffling it off because i don’t know the laws in Arizona however you can have it auctioned off and set with a minimum amount that you are willing to take.

Check out state and county regulations before raffling off your home. (You want to enjoy life, not do anything illegal.) I suggest contacting your state’s Department of Business Regulations/Real Estate Division as soon as possible. If that’s not possible, contact an intelligent Realtor you know and trust.

You could raffle it off or auction it off to the highest bidder. Call a real estate company or a title company in florence and see what they say you might do. You could also just price your home toward the bottom of the comparable homes in your area
