Wedding tent an chair rental question?
We are currently interested in possibly renting a tent for our outdoor wedding with about 70 guests in case there would be rain. My mom has a beautiful yard about 5 acres and were planning an outdoor wedding on May 2nd and I am worried about spring time rain. Also we were curious about chair rental of again for 70 guests? Any one have some experience renting a tent or chairs and an idea of the cost of one or both?
Also what we would like to do is just rent the chairs, we could possibly pick them up and drop them off and then with the tent we would want to have it set up but we would be willing to decorate it and also the reception would be outdoors as well and we are working with a small budget!
to add more details, the tent is our back up plan. When I say were working on a budget I mean a very small $1000 budget that does NOT include dress though because someone else is buying that for me.
Bridesmaids and groomsmen will also be paying for their own attire.
I live in North Florida and we were looking at renting a tent as well. It turned out that we didn’t need to as we found another ceremony/reception site, but the price I was quoted was $400.00 for the tent and another $200.00 for them to deliver and set it up. That was for 70 guests also. As far as the chairs go, I was quoted between $1-3, depending on the type of chair you get.
