We are planning to have a backyard wedding. We thought it was appropiate since we met while living with our parents who are neighbors. My parents have a huge yard and his dad has a big pole barn in case it rains. I’m just looking for some different ideas for decorating. It will be semi-formal with only 2-3 attendants standing up with us. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

the two above me took my words out of my mouth, my wedding was at a old stone and log cabin house overlooking a valley, and we had a cook out after wards, i found a old 1942 wedding dress for $50.00 he wore black jeans, and a white shirt and cowboy hat, and boots, everyone was casual. and brought pot luck, we had a blast. i had only 1 attendant and flower girl. he had his best man. no music the ceremony was 5 Min’s long, the preacher after wards before he introduced us said this was the shortest wedding he ever did.
